![]() ![]() POS, in this case, is not the abbreviation for a common English insult, but instead for "Polytechnische Oberschule" (polytechnic secondary school), so a school mostly focused on technic related subjects. The "4POS" part of the name indicates the number of classes per individual grade, so four full 30-student classes per grade 8, 9, 10 and so on. This design here was created in the city of Erfurt, where the most common East German school designs originated from. The depicted building is called a "Typenschule 1969", shortened to "TS69". The finished model should hopefully last another year or more before I deem it obsolete. I also got rid of the "nobase"-shader, which turned up the specularity of the windows far too much. Now I can proudly present you the reworked version, with better colors, more detailed textures, and generally higher detail. Today's asset marks the 1-year-anniversary of my "Plattenbau School Type Erfurt double", which, back then, was one my most high quality assets.īut over the span of one year my models improved more and more, so it was time to give the school the rework it deserves.
